Athletics

West Nairobi School is a part of the Kenya Association of Independent International Schools Sports Organization (KAIISSO). There are 24 other schools in this association.During the course of one year, WNS plays each of these teams, either at home or away, in the four sports that are offered.WNS also attends an average of 6-8 tournaments each year, which includes schools both in the KAIISSO league and not.

Music

The WNS Music Department seeks to educate and train the student as a complete musician through professional preparation in performance, theoretical and historical studies. Performance preparation in both vocal and instrumental areas is cultivated by individual instruction and ensemble membership.WNS currently offers Middle School Band, Middle School General Music, Middle School Choir, and High School Band. Peripatetic tutoring is also available for students throughout the week.

• Microsoft Office 365 Suite: Mastery of essential productivity tools.

Beyond the classroom, students can explore STEM, robotics, and coding through specialized clubs. These extracurricular activities foster problem-solving, innovation, and teamwork.

We also offer diverse High School Courses through our online school, North Star Academy.

All our Classrooms are Equipped with projectors or Smart Televisions, these, facilitate dynamic presentations and engaging discussions. Visual aids enhance learning, making lessons come alive.

We connect with students and parents through Schoology, our web-based Learning Management System (LMS). Schoology integrates seamlessly with PowerSchool, our student information system.
